Big Red Barn Pumpkin Patch 2011

We went back to the Big Red Barn this year to pick our Halloween pumpkins. It was really cold outside. There was no hot cider or chocolate at the barn so we settled for ice cream and donuts (still yummy, but something warm would have been so much nicer!). After we ate we took a hayride out to the pumpkin field to pick our pumpkins. The kids had fun doing all the activities and finding their perfect pumpkins.

We found Denny's in Nephi on our way home for dinner -thank you GPS! I used to go there all the time when I went to Snow College but I had forgot how to get there. We went there mainly to get hot chocolate, but of course they were all sold out of it. At least the dinner was warm! We were actually pretty lucky because Denny's was doing a special where you get a free kids meal with each adult entree purchase on Saturday nights. It was a fantastic coincidence that we were there at the right time with the perfect adult and child ratio!

Brig and Sarah in the Apple Crate Maze. Brig found a couple pieces of trash in it... yuck. I also realized that he grew out of his jacket from last year after I took this picture! I guess the first cold day of the season is a good time to realize this!
