Brigham loves...

On his 5th birthday, Brigham got a hold of my camera and took about 100 pictures before I caught him. When I asked about why he took so many pictures, he said he wanted to get a picture of everything he loves. I thought it was sweet so I'll share some of my favorite pictures he took! May Birthday Week

There are two very special months in our household: May and November because all our birthdays fall in those months (even baby Larsen is scheduled for Nov.)! My birthday and Brig's birthday are 5 days apart. I really enjoy sharing a "birthday week" with my little boy because it makes all the celebrations better and even longer :)

We took Brigham out today to celebrate his birthday early since his birthday fell on Sunday. We took him out to BYU's Monte Bean Life Science museum since he has recently taken an interest in dead stuffed animals. He has been hooked on them since seeing the small collection Snow College has in their science building.

We came in time to see a little live reptile show where Brig was able to touch a boa constrictor and a large lizard. It was a really neat museum, there were animals there that I didn't know existed! Brigham was intimidated by the large bears and tigers, but seemed to warm up to them a little by the time we left and was already asking when we'll be back!

After that we went out to Chuck E.Cheese and of course he loved that too! It is amazing how in love he is with the little spider he got with his tickets! Unfortunately since we live out in nowheresville we had to make the trip somewhat practical and had to go to Costco for bulk necessities! Not a fun birthday activity!
But we made up for it by stopping by the Big Red Barn for ice cream to break up the drive and we kind of unintentionally had ice cream for dinner! But it's birthday week, so those types of naughty things are acceptable!

Tomorrow night we'll have birthday week grand finale with Brigham's cake and presents (oh yeah it's mother's day too, so it will feel a little bit like my birthday again)! Then we'll have to wait another 6 months until our three November birthdays will come!
